Land of Tea Parties

Room 5 children had a magical surprise when they came back into their classroom at lunch time today. The Land of Tea Parties had appeared in their classroom.

Home Colour

Olly brought along cuttings from the native trees that we have used to name the special house groups at our school. What a great idea Olly. Can you recognise the trees?

Faraway tree update

Georgie brought some of the characters from the Faraway Tree to life this week with some clever props. Check this out.

We have been working hard on art work for our calendars in class. Please come into the class and have a look so that you can decide on what order you might like to place.

Faraway tree

We are lucky enough in Room 5 to have our very own Faraway Tree. We are planning to put some of the main characters in the tree and add lots of the exciting things that grow on the tree during the next few weeks. Keep an eye on the blog for further developments.

Fractions

We have been learning about fractions on maths. We now know that the larger the number on the bottom of the fraction(denominator)the smaller the share of the whole is.
